Meet our team leaders:
President Roger Lackey started as a delivery driver for OCB Reprographics in Irvine, California in 1983. He worked his way up through the growing company, working in nearly every department at OCB, to the position of Senior Vice President. He was persuaded to leave OCB in 2004 to join BPS as President. With a bachelor’s degree in business from Vanguard University, Roger’s experience, talent and sensitivity to customers’ needs make him uniquely qualified to lead BPS into its second century of service.
Vice President of Operations David Blain joined BPS in 1992 and has worked in nearly every aspect of our business. David currently manages all eight of BPS’s production facilities. An Illinios native, David holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from CSU Hayward and demonstrates a true knack for the reprographics industry, and has a great passion for BPS’s clients and staff.
When Controller Carolyne Kerans joined BPS in 2002, she brought with her 15 years of experience in the construction and building industry, having worked with a large engineering firm and a homebuilder. She received her business management and accounting degree from CSU Hayward. Carolyne’s attention to detail guarantees the accuracy of all your BPS statements and reports, and helps ensure our compliance with today's business regulations.
Sales Manager Rocky Shone
From captaining Cal's baseball team in the early 1970s, to managing a pro baseball team in Italy, to his experience selling to the AEC community from 1984, Rocky has acquired the knowledge and experience necessary to motivate and direct a sales team that focuses on solution-based customer service and satisfaction.
Director of On-Site Services Brad Hoyer has been in the equipment industry since 1992 and at BPS since 2001. Starting as an On-Site Services Specialist, Brad was promoted to his current position in 2004. A Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate, Brad played baseball in college and professionally for the Padres and Red Sox before bringing his team-player spirit to BPS.
Director of Digital Services Evelyn Cruz became an IT consultant to some of the UK’s largest retail fashion corporations after she graduated from UC Berkeley. Nine years later, she joined her first reprographics firm, learning the details of our industry and the cycles of the construction business. First as a Reprographic Consultant at OCB Reprographics in San Diego and then joining BPS in 2006. Evelyn’s years of experience and technological expertise provide BPS clients with a distinct advantage in understanding and getting the most from our digital products and services.
