



HIGH-SPEED FTP TRANSFERS
When you need to transfer files directly to the BPS File Transfer Protocol site, here’s what you need to know:
Internet Explorer 6.x
• Create a “Zip” archive or gather all files to be transferred into a single folder
• Access BPS FTP site and double-click on the appropriate folder
• Drag your file or folder onto the appropriate BPS FTP folder
• If your transfer gets interrupted, rename your archive or folder for re-uploading
Internet Explorer 7.x
• Create a “Zip” archive or gather all files to be transferred into single folder
• Access BPS FTP site, click on the “Page” button on your Internet Explorer tool bar and select “Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer”
• Double click on the appropriate folder
• Drag your file or folder onto the appropriate BPS FTP folder
• If your transfer gets interrupted, rename your archive or folder for re-uploading
Mac and Firefox
• Please use an FTP utility such as CyberDuck(Mac) or FileZilla (Firefox) for consistent results. If your transfer gets interrupted, rename your archive or folder for re-uploading.
Note: Since there is no order form associated with FTP transfers it is imperative that you follow up your transfer with a phone call, fax or e-mail to the appropriate BPS office to notify us of the file transfer.
